A 12-year-old boy is making waves in England. The young man called Redvers Stokes caused a stir in the village of Sticker, in Cornwall (England), when he took part in a drag queen contest and won. Detail: his opponents were all adults.
Stokes performed in a pink dress, blonde wig, padded bra and high heels. Once assembled, he adopted the social name "Naughty Nora" and defeated all the professional drag queens in the village. The boy performed with the songs "Thriller", by Michael Jackson, and hits by Dolly Parton (famous country music singer).
To the local press, Redvers' parents said they were "very happy" with their son's victory. After winning the contest, the boy paraded around the city in an open car and revealed that he started his career wearing his mother's clothes, because when he was younger he tried on his mother's clothes.
Redvers Stokes said that dressing up as a woman is just a "hobby" and that he likes "girls". He has also stated that he sees nothing "wrong" with wearing women's clothing and that he and his friends have fun doing so.
