Gay? Jennifer Lopez wants to sue magazine that made insinuations about her boyfriend

It's not just here in Brazil that celebrities decide to sue when it comes to rumors about sexuality.

Just like former player Raí, who decided to take legal action against a journalist who called him gay, singer Jennifer Lopez will do the same to the North American magazines Star Magazine and In Touch, for publishing that her boyfriend and dancer Casper Smart is homosexual.

It all started after Joshua Lee Ayers, who claims to be a friend of Smart, claimed he was gay and leaked some photos of the dancer on the web. Soon after, Star Magazine published images of Casper at a New York club, considered by the publication to be a place "known for gay men who are looking for instant hookups."

In Touch magazine went much further and stated that J.Lo's boyfriend was "caught" with an "exotic masseur" in the kitchen of a hellhole. The episode would have happened the day before the singer's 43rd birthday.

The couple's lawyers, Shawn Holley and Howard Weitzman, sent letters to the publications stating that the articles were "false, malicious and defamatory."

According to the website TMZ, the letters also ask for the magazines to retract immediately, otherwise, Casper Smart and Jennifer Lopez went to great lengths to open a lawsuit against the publications.
