Glenn Greenwald says Bolsonaro insulted and attacked his family

Journalist Glenn Greenwald was honored at an event by the Brazilian Press Association (ABI) last Tuesday (3), and during the event he responded to President Bolsonaro's malicious and prejudiced comments.

“This week President Bolsonaro not only threatened our freedom of the press,” he stated. “He insulted and attacked my family and my children. This isn't a coincidence, it wasn't something that came out of a broken, crazy brain. A considerable part of Bolsonaro's movement is to distill hatred against LGBT people,” said Gleen.

“David and I are happy to use this platform to show what young LGBT people go through”, “Don’t believe the lies of this ugly movement about what it means to be LGBT. Don't internalize this. Your life will not be one of sadness and loneliness. Look at our family, this is the truth of being LGBT”, he concluded.
