Recently, two male gorillas at the Rotterdam zoo in the Netherlands were caught doing it explicitly while tourists watched the scene.
Aybo and Thabo, as they are called, were photographed in sexual activity by photographer Shirley Kroos, and the photos circulated around the world.
"It's great that they have fun together and enjoy each other's company! Lol, it was unique to capture this moment on camera," she wrote on her Facebook profile.
After the repercussions, the zoo team reported that both gorillas are three years old and started playing these "games" some time ago.
