Married to artist Jwan Yosef, singer Ricky Martin gave an interview to the program “Popcorn”, on the American network ABC, in which he spoke about his personal life and revealed that he would like his children to be gay. “I don't know, my children are still very young, but I would like them to be gay,” said the artist, who is father to 9-year-old twins Valentino and Matteo. Considered one of the main Latin American artists of the century, Ricky Martin publicly came out as homosexual in 2010, when he published a letter on his website about the subject. “[Taking on his guidance] is a very special thing. Sensitivity, the way I see it now, since I don't have to hide. I see colors. And then you see the rainbow. This is real. Everything is tangible. It makes me a stronger person,” he said. “I would come out of the closet again because it was incredible,” said the singer. “That moment when I wrote the letter and posted it on Twitter… The freedom, the feeling was so powerful. And after that, people were coming up to me and thanking me. So it’s an important thing”, added the celebrity, who became an LGBT activist.
