Polish government concludes that Telletubies are not gay

The League of Polish Families declared this Thursday (31) that the children's series Teletubbies does not contain gay material and is open to children.

Ewa Sowinska, a spokeswoman for the organization, said last week during an interview that the British program was not suitable for children because of the mannerisms of the character Tinky Winky, who carries a bag, and, she believes, helps in the “promotion” of homosexuality. .

According to Ewa's press office, the League gave up on the idea of asking psychologists to examine the program in order to find possible gay traits. “They are fictional characters, they have nothing to do with reality. (…) The scholarship is only used to create a fictional world that speaks to children,” she explained to the press.

The BBC network, responsible for production, denied any secret intention in the attraction, stating that many children, of both sexes, like to play with bags. The Teletubbies series was produced between 1997 and 2001.
