Anitta called “madness” and “great hypocrisy” the sexual abstinence campaign proposed by View All, Minister of Women, Family and Human Rights, to reduce the rates of STIs (sexually transmitted infections) and unwanted pregnancy in adolescence.

In an interview with HuffPost Brazil, the singer: “If you want to prevent the disease, if you want to take birth control, there's no point in saying: 'abstinence from sex'. Imagine if young people in the middle of Carnival will hear this, if they will think about it”.

The singer argues that people should be educated in the classroom to protect themselves.
