The long-awaited return of the series Homecoming, from Amazon Prime Video, is scheduled for May 22, as announced this Monday (27) by streaming.

Starring in this second season by Janelle Monáe – the first featured Julia Roberts in the lead role, and this year the actress is a producer – the suspense and mystery series will show her as a woman who wakes up with no memory inside a boat and decides to investigate how and why she ended up there.

In terms of representation of LGBT people on screen, Homecoming has the presence of Monáe, who is openly pansexual, as a positive point. In fact, in the trailer, there is a scene in which the singer and actress kisses Hong Chau, who reprises the role he had in the first season, kiss.

This year, Monáe stars in another debut: the horror film chosen, whose trailer you can see here.
