After the success of the animation Spider-Man in Spider-Man (2018), Sony and Marvel decided to continue with the endeavor of showing different versions of the superhero coming from parallel universes.
According to We Got This Covered, the actors Tom Holland (photo) – current interpreter of the arachnid –, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield – who took on the role in previous franchises – could reunite in a new film in which Garfield will play a version Bisexual Spider, even appearing with a boyfriend.
The production is in the early stages of development, says the website, and the request to make the hero's films more inclusive comes from both Holland and Garfield.
