It is not just in São Paulo that gays have been victims of crimes motivated by homophobia.
Last Sunday (27), Damian Furtch, 26, and a friend were attacked by two attackers inside a McDonald's restaurant, located on busy 6th Avenue, in New York, in the United States.
According to the “Daily News”, after the attack, Furtch was left with bruises around his eyes and numerous scratches. The police do not rule out that this was a hate crime and are currently trying to locate the criminals.
The following day, the young man posted photos on his Facebook page, with the words: “Four points, thank you f***ers”.
