Man is left with rotten and disfigured face after undergoing surgery to make himself “more feminine”

In search of a stereotype and ideal form of beauty, many people undergo medical procedures that, often, end up going very wrong.

That's exactly what happened to a Colombian man whose identity was not revealed. After resorting to plastic surgery to make his face more feminine, he was faced with a harsh reality: his face was disfigured.

In an interview with the BBC, he said that about four years ago, a doctor advised him to inject a substance that, theoretically, would make his cheekbones bigger. At first, the process seemed to have the desired effect, however, when he underwent easy hydration, the products used in both situations had a harmful effect on his skin.

"When she performed the procedure, she injected some oils into my face. These oils fused with the substance I already had on my face, if I know (…) three months later, my skin started to get hard, they started to come off. granulomas (inflammatory nodules) on my face, which was all red, hot," he said.

The young man continues to report that he reported those involved in the case, however, they fled. After having his face "destroyed", and, according to him, pus was oozing out and his face "was rotting", the man underwent four surgeries to repair it and has now managed to reconstruct 60% of his face.

PS: It is never too much to remember that any and all medical processes must be carried out by reliable professionals.
