Marcelo Dourado's homophobia has repercussions on international gay websites

This Tuesday's Big Brother Brasil 10 wall promises to break historic voting records. If it depends on the LGBT community, which has been mobilizing on the internet since last Sunday, fighter Marcelo Dourado could be eliminated from the global reality show tonight.

To try to garner even more votes in favor of journalist Angélica and makeup artist Dicesar, several international blogs and websites have been posting information about today's long-awaited wall. This afternoon, the website of "The Advocate" magazine reproduced a note from the blog "Made in Brazil", by Juliano Corbetta, which commented on the attraction and also quoted a speech by Dourado in which he said that heterosexual men do not contract the HIV virus.

The article in "The Advocate", which has the title "Homophobe leads Big Brother Brazil", says that the fighter from Rio Grande do Sul is considered "favorite" to win the grand prize, "unless viewers vote to stop it."

The website also highlights the direct link to the official BBB10 page, which features the vote to eliminate one of the three competitors.
