The photographer and filmmaker Rafael Aguiar launched a project in which they propose a reflection on roles, feelings and expression.
“Imaculados”, according to Rafael, is a project of freedom. The entire composition of the shoot is done so that men feel comfortable expressing their feelings through clothing. During the process, the men are naked, dressed in “brides” and allow themselves to be photographed so that the photographer can capture the intimacy of that moment.
"I've always lived surrounded by women, since I was a child, I've always loved their universe, their struggles, their loves, their dreams, and I've always hated machismo and intolerance, somehow I needed to expose this", explained the photographer.
It is interesting to note that at the end of the test IMMACULATE The models always leave some written record of what it meant to experience something normally restricted to women for a while.
