Actor James Franco recorded an EP in partnership with artist Kalup Linzy. Kalup, among other performances, acts as a drag queen. Titled "Turn It Up", the EP will be released on July 12th.
This week the video for one of the album's tracks, "Rising", was released. The video, in a crazy surrealist atmosphere, shows Kalup dressed as a woman and James appearing only in a few moments and doing backing vocals.
The duo met on the set of the American television series "General Hospital". This is the first time that the actor has ventured into music. Clips for two other tracks on the EP should be released soon.
