The current governor of São Paulo, João Dória, ordered the removal of handouts that talked about gender identity, sexual orientation, STDs and pregnancy.
We were alerted to an unacceptable error in the school material for 8th grade students in the state network. I asked the Secretary of Education to immediately collect the material and identify those responsible. We do not agree with or accept support for gender ideology.

The booklets were distributed to students aged between 13 and 14, and studying in Elementary School in the São Paulo state network.
