Player offers R$50 to his lover not to reveal that he is bisexual

A case of bisexuality and betrayal involving a star from the first division of English football has caused a stir in the British press. According to information from the Daily Star, the athlete, whose identity has not been revealed and is married to a woman with whom he even has a son, would have had an affair with another man for around ten months and, now, has decided to put a end point in the relationship. The lover, in turn, felt used and wanted to make the relationship between the two public. The player, scared, offered 10 thousand pounds (around R$50 thousand) for the other man to remain silent. The lover, however, didn't want the football professional's money because it wasn't extortion but something more passionate. According to the newspaper, the athlete tries to comfort his lover by saying that he will find someone with whom he can have a public relationship. The man then replied in the exchange of messages: “Who are you to tell me that I need to find someone? Maybe people need to know that you are gay and you stop thinking only about yourself.” According to the British press, the athlete's teammates are aware of his bisexuality. The problem, however, would be with the fans, since homosexuality is still not well accepted in the sports environment, which, above all, is sexist and exclusionary.
