Young designer Nandor Gyongyosi, aged 29, is elected the new Mr. Gay Europe

The young Hungarian Nándor (Nandi) Gyöngyösi, 29 years old, took home the title of “Mister Gay Europe 2006”, after winning the contest that took place this Saturday in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. The handsome man competed with 17 other (just as handsome) candidates for the position, including Mister Gay França, who won the Mister Congeniality award. “I want to fight for homosexual rights. A gay movement in Europe is necessary. I will fight for it”, declared the winner upon receiving the title. To elect the winner of the contest, which is in its second edition, all the traditional stages were completed: parades in swimwear, in formal attire and a question and answer session. Nandor is from the city of Miskol and works as a computer designer. And his hobbies include working out, swimming and traveling. Now, he will represent Hungary in the Mr. Gay International Competition
