Young gay man is attacked by a homophobic group and has his fingers broken in Araras

While PLC 122 is slowly being processed through Congress, more cases of aggression against homosexuals are popping up across the country.

Last Saturday (19) a 26-year-old gay man was attacked in Parque Tiradentes, in the city of Araras, in the interior of São Paulo. The attack allegedly took place at the house of a friend of the young man. He would have entered the bathroom to get a toothbrush while his friend's son was taking a shower. The son didn't like the attitude and called a group of ten friends to beat the other boy.

The group beat the young man with punches and kicks, in addition to insulting him with homophobic words. During the attack, the boy suffered two broken fingers. The situation didn't have a more tragic ending, because a neighbor helped him with a motorcycle.

Before the police arrived, the group escaped. The victim filed a report of bodily injury and injury. The police will investigate the case.
