Largo do Arouche could be transformed into a French-inspired 'boulevard'

The first stage of the revitalization works at Largo do Arouche, in the center of the capital, began last Friday (24). The total cost will be R$3,8 million and will turn the square into a boulevard.

The project began under the administration of former mayor João Doria (PSDB), who left the city hall, and intends to raise the money only through the private sector. The square will be completely paved, becoming a boulevard without streets.
