Lea T. postpones sex change and wants to join the fight for trans rights

Like The Cape said, Lea T was one of the honorees of the "Rio Sem Preconceito" award, delivered last Tuesday night (28) in Rio. The model stopped participating in the Givenchy brand show at Paris Fashion Week, of which she is the muse of designer Ricardo Tisci, to be present at the ceremony.

During the delivery, Lea said that she had to postpone her plans for sex change surgery due to anemia she had as a result of having silicone implants implanted in her breasts. "I'm not afraid of the surgery, I'm afraid of everything not coming out correctly. It will be great to put on a bikini and not feel anything squeezed", revealed the top.

Lea also said that she is interested in joining an association that defends the rights of transsexuals. "In Italy, I even looked at some associations, but what was missing was time. I want to collaborate in a more concrete way, because I receive emails and letters from several transsexuals, all very young, asking for guidance and I would like to be able to indicate good support, with psychological and physical structure", said the brunette.

When she received her award, Lea received a standing ovation from the audience when she spoke in favor of the right of transvestites and transsexuals to work. "Today, all over the world, transsexuals do not have the opportunity to work. The only work they are forced to do is to be a prostitute. We must have the right to make our choice to be prostitutes or not and not be forced to do anything ", the engaged top declared excitedly.
