How to Live Aligned with The Cape actor Leandro Hassum, from the series "Os Caras de Pau", had told was chosen to play Captain Gay in the film that will have the famous character of Jô Soares as the protagonist.
To get into the mood, Hassum appeared suitably dressed as the Captain in the opening of his play "Lente de Augimento".
The film will be directed by José Henrique Fonseca and filming will begin in mid-2013. Captain Gay was created in 1982 by Jô Soares for the program "Viva o Gordo". The character lived with his faithful squire Carlos Suely (Eliezer Motta).
