Celebrity journalist Leo Dias used his social media profile this weekend to vent about the prejudice he suffers due to his drug addiction and revealed that he will soon start a new treatment. Through his Twitter account, the columnist and presenter said that “a lot of people make fun of my addiction and have no idea how much it hurts me”. “It’s a daily struggle. I will soon undergo new treatment, I sincerely ask that you respect my pain,” he wrote. “I pray from the bottom of my heart that whoever attacks me because of my addiction, or makes jokes, never goes through what I went through or the pain of always starting over”, continued the journalist. Finally, the communicator highlighted that no matter how much the criticize, he has three jobs in “three big companies”. “It’s not for everyone, my life has become my work”, he concluded. Leo Dias publicly admitted his drug addiction recently, in an interview with Veja Rio. In the publication, he told the publication that he has been a drug addict since 2000, when he lived in Australia and said that “cocaine was once my best companion”.
