Girl power! Two openly lesbians were among the four finalists of The Voice Brasil. Maria Cristina, which has already gained prominence here on Dykerama, and Ellen Oléria, who became the grand champion of the musical competition.
Ellen received 39% of the public vote. In her performance in the final, the singer performed "Anunciação" by Alceu Valença and "Taj Mahal" by Jorge Ben Jor.
In previous editions of the program, Ellen's girlfriend had already gained prominence in the production, when she was subtitled as the Brasilia native's companion.
In the final, it was no different, when the images of Ellen's family were shown, the program's caption had the phrase "Ellen's mother and girlfriend".
