Levi's launches collection to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride month

Family is where you are born, but for the LGBTQ+ community, the family they build is the one that often offers a deeper connection. This relationship may or may not have a blood connection, the important thing is that they are trustworthy people, who can share the joys, sadness and all of life's other challenges. To the collection Pride 2019, Levi's® highlights these heartfelt families and the power they have to create messages of support, unity and love.

The 2019 Levi's® Pride collection celebrates the power of these communities and features a variety of t-shirts, jeans and truckers, all featuring various interpretations of the Levi's® logo and the Pride rainbow. It celebrates inclusion, acceptance, diversity and love through a series of dual gender pieces, which update your look in a matter of seconds.

With over 30 years of advocacy for the LGBTQ+ cause, Levi's® is committed to continuing to be an ally, ensuring this collection directly supports the community. In the United States, the brand teams up again with OutRight Action International – an organization that has also promoted LGBTQ+ rights for the last three decades. In Brazil, Levi's® supports the first edition of the Chama Festival, at Casa Chama, which takes place on June 20th in São Paulo. Casa Chama is a cultural association for LGBTQIAP+ care, which arose from the need to create more spaces for research, discussion and action focused on transvestites, transsexuals, transgender, transgender and non-binary people. The house is a safe living environment that produces everything from cultural events and study groups to care and legal support projects.

Levi's® will also be present at the TODXS Conecta event on June 22nd in São Paulo. The forum promotes discussions with personalities from the community and thinks about milestones and achievements that have been acquired over the years. TODXS is the first Brazilian non-profit social startup that promotes LGBTI+ inclusion with the mission of empowering the community, educating society and transforming Brazil into a truly inclusive country free from discrimination.

For more than half a century, Levi's® jeans have been the uniform of social progress. And with Pride 2019, Levi's® continues that tradition, ensuring everyone feels like they have a community that supports them.

The collection is now available on the website levi.com.br/pride.
