According to a survey carried out by representatives of the event, only 25,6% of those interviewed say they work in companies with good diversity and employee integration actions in Brazil.

Ana Pellegrini, legal director at Uber, and Leticia Mazon, senior communications associate, took the stage to comment on the company's inclusion actions. “It only takes one person to make cultural change,” says Letícia, informing that the company's internal diversity group already has 450 members.

It also brings data from a survey by Grupo Dignidade, which shows that 50,3% of LGBT passengers interviewed have already suffered some type of prejudice when traveling by taxi. With passengers from Uber drivers, this number drops to 1,6%.

Representing Facebook, Leonardo Silva, sales manager for the social network, remembers that “when diversity is integrated into the company’s belief, everyone only benefits”.

It is worth remembering that the social network has already developed actions to celebrate gay marriage and is increasingly making it easier for user records to respectfully represent their gender options.

Through events called “Global Prides”, The network's LGBT employees come together to learn ideas about how to carry out diversity actions, raise funds for events and create successful campaigns.

Alex Silva. Google, concludes that any company or employee can seek out representatives to obtain help on how to create a diversity group in their own professional environment.
