Star Wars book will have first openly LGBT character

Anyone who is a fan of the Star Wars saga can celebrate with the arrival of the first openly LGBT character. She will be in the book Star Wars: Lords of The Sith, which will be released in April.

Its about Moff Mors, a lesbian woman, described as the "incredibly capable" Imperial leader and who spends much of the book trying to prevent "the absolute failure" of the Empire.

The editor Shelly Shapiro confirmed Moff's presence this Monday 9) during an interview with a podcast that talks about the series. He said that, despite Moff being the first openly LGBT character, other characters from the community have already been mentioned in the series.

Goran Bevin and Medrit Vasur, for example, were married in the book Legacy of the Force. And the game Knights of the Old Republic also allowed same-sex relationships.
