In an interview with the special “solidarity” edition of the magazine Gay Times, the actor Michael cimino told how a gay cousin influenced him in his work as the protagonist of the series Love, Victor (Hulu), derived from the film With love, Simon (2018)

“I asked him about his history and how it affected him, and we kind of did a deep dive into how [his sexual orientation] affected him and in what ways. So, in the end, we kind of based Victor on my cousin, because I wanted to represent his difficulties,” he reported.

“I think my cousin is possibly my favorite person in the whole world, he is my best friend and much more than a cousin, he is like a brother. We do everything together. I respect him to the maximum level and truly appreciate him as a person.”

To date, no exhibitor has announced the release of Love, Victor in Brazil. Watch the newly released trailer below.
