A série Love, Victor has a new trailer. Released this Tuesday (26), the video affectionately and lightly shows the main character (played by Michael Cimino) having the turbulent experiences typical of adolescence – but with one more fact that makes all the difference: Victor is gay.
The series is derived from With love, Simon (2018), a successful romantic comedy that broke barriers when it was released because of its protagonist, a gay teenager coming out of the closet. With love, Simon, in turn, is adapted from the book of the same name by Becky Albertalli.
Love, Victor premieres on June 19th. To date, no broadcaster channel has announced a launch in Brazil.
