Lies spread on the internet are a serious matter – and can generate similar consequences. The singer Ludmilla, 25, experienced an example of this this Monday (25): the woman from Rio went to a police station in Rio to report accusations she received on Twitter, from fake profiles, that she was cheating on her wife, Brunna Gonçalves.

“Today I’m going to prove to these three people that they can’t do this, that the internet is not a no man’s land, it’s a people’s land, yes,” said the artist on social media.

“People have to start being more careful when using the internet. Do you know how to use it? Good. Don't know how to use it? Bye, you’ll have to pay for this.”

The singer's team released a statement denying the story – there was no betrayal.
