Lufe Steffen talks about national LGBT cinema and heterophobia in gay clubs

The filmmaker and journalist, who will release a film about nightlife in São Paulo in the 60s, 70s and 80s, considers the heterophobic stance of some gays towards straight people in LGBT clubs to be a setback.

Lufe Steffen was present in the third program of the Cinema, presented by journalist Emílio Faustino.

The channel, which aims to talk about cinema and the LGBT universe, had as its central theme the national LGBT cinema.

Lufe, who is the author of the book "The cinema that dares to say its name" and will release the documentary on May 19th “São Paulo in Hi-Fi”, spoke openly about the nightlife in São Paulo in a relaxed chat full of content that is worth checking out:
