Madonna says she was booed in Paris by criminals and not by fans

O The Cape I had already told here about the loud booing that Madonna received in Paris, after her show at the Olympia, last Thursday (26).

The show, announced at the last minute and broadcast live on the internet, was a more intimate version of the MDNA Tour presentation. The public, who paid between 80 and 280 euros for the ticket, would have been irritated by the short duration of the show, which lasted just 45 minutes. Boos and insults took over the space after the end as a form of protest.

The singer has now gone public and issued a note on her official website about the public's reaction. "After the show, when I had already left the stage, some people started throwing plastic bottles pretending to be angry fans. The press limited itself to reporting just this isolated fact, instead of focusing on the pleasurable part of the night. But nothing can take away this special night from me. Every time I looked at the audience, I saw only smiling faces."
