Madonna is engaged in combating the spread of the new coronavirus.
The diva announced last Friday (3) that she donated one million dollars (approximately R$5.2 million) to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, owned by the founder of Microsoft, which makes donations to seven scientific entities seeking a cure for Covid -19.
“We need this to protect healthcare professionals, the most vulnerable, and all our family and friends,” said the singer in a publicity video.
