Most Germans are in favor of gay marriage, survey reveals

A survey carried out by "Stern" magazine together with the "RTL" channel revealed that 74% of Germans are in favor of homosexual marriage.

Of this number, the majority vote for the Green Party and the Social Democrats. As A Capa reported, Germany's Constitutional Court ruled that homosexuals are allowed to adopt, extending the same rights as straight couples to gay couples.

In the country, homosexual unions are only carried out as civil partnerships. It is hoped that now, with the support of the population, same-sex marriage will be approved.
