More than 25 thousand shares! Teacher shows off when he answers his students if he is gay

The story was told through Facebook in a post that has already been shared by more than 25 thousand people.

The testimony of a professor at the Rio de Janeiro shows why discussing gender stereotypes in the classroom is still more than necessary in schools.

Victor Fernandes teaches at a CIEP, in Inhoaíba (RJ), and was asked by a first-year student about his sexual orientation. “Professor, are you gay?”, she asked. He could simply answer “yes” or “no”, but he preferred to ask the students what made them question this, taking the opportunity to debate the stereotypes associated with “being a heterosexual man”.

The story was told through the professor's Facebook, in a post that has already been shared by more than 25 thousand people, receiving more than 38 thousand reactions. And the answers given by the students only show that we are still a long way from achieving the degree of equality we expected. His conclusion? “Machismo is oppressive towards men too.”
