More evidence suggests that Malvino Salvador may play a homosexual in the soap opera that will follow "Salve Jorge", on TV Globo.
Like The Cape had told, Malvino was considered to play a gay man in Walcyr Carrasco's plot. Then came the news that Mateus Solano would be the gay villain in the soap opera. But, the story would also have a gay couple, who would have a child through a surrogate mother.
Now, Wolf Maya, production director, confirmed that Malvino will be in the cast. "Mauro Mendonça Filho and I are directing. The cast will include Antônio Fagundes, Filvio Stefanini, Malvino Salvador, Caio Castro… It's a beautiful story," said Wolf.
Will Malvino be one of the soap opera’s dads? "It will be called Em Nome do Pai. The plot is a tribute to São Paulo. For years Globo's accent was Rio. Now, this soap opera will have a São Paulo accent", added the director.
