The samba school 'Estação Primeira de Mangueira' decided to make room for diversity and presented the school's first trans muse for the 2019 carnival. Patrícia Souza, who is 25 years old and from Rio, will debut in the role and is very dedicated and happy for the parade.
“My presentation will be on the 19th. Since the invitation, I have lived the happiest days of my life. Being the muse of Mangueira is the realization of a great dream, a great achievement. I have received a lot of affection and respect from the Mangueirense nation, which makes me feel very comfortable”, said Patrícia to the columnist Leo Days.
