Singer Marina Lima is about to launch her new project. In November, the book "Maneira de Ser" hits stores, which aims to reveal a little more about the singer's intimacy.
The work will bring together articles, interviews, scores, song lyrics, photos and a CD with two new songs by Marina. The name of the book refers to the first song that was composed by Marina, without the participation of partners, which appeared on her first album, "Simples como Fogo", from 1979.
The greatest expression comes through music. But I'm very ambitious and I want to translate my life, show relevant aspects that reveal the particular way I see and be in the world", says Marina about the book.
The singer hopes that the work will help people to open their horizons. "The reader will meet someone from Brazilian popular music who doesn't fit into the popular or obvious Brazilian style", she explains.
In addition to the book, Marina is finishing her documentary "Chegando ao Clímax com Marina", directed by Candé Salles.
