The drama that actress Alicia Silverstone went through as a teenager is more common than you might think. When discovering their sexuality, it is possible that boys and girls choose to follow society's "standard" and try to date the opposite sex.
According to Alicia, who became famous after playing Cher Horowitz in the film "The Preppies of Beverly Hills", the first love of her life was a gay guy.
In an interview with OUT magazine, she confessed that many friends warned her but she didn't realize the boy's sexuality.
"My first love was gay, and I didn't know it. I used to defend him, because everyone said he was, but he said he wasn't. Then, six years later, we had a big talk," he said.
Alicia Silverstone, who is now married to musician Christopher Jarecki, also said that throughout her life as a single woman she had several other passions for homosexuals. Good or bad luck, the actress at least has good taste!
