Michael Jackson, character of himself

Michael Jackson's biography is probably the most unique to emerge in the history of pop music. The star didn't have a real childhood, from the age of seven he was an icon. When he entered the Jackson 5 he stole the show. Finally, the myth.

And so he walked on his own two feet. He made his album "Thriller" the best-selling in the history of music with 55 million vinyl copies sold, and there weren't even MP3s at that time or anything like that. He became a star. People on television, radio and other media followed him, going crazy. At that time there was no competition, it was Michael and the rest of the artists.

Thus, he was decorated, by fans and the media, as the King of pop music and Michael wore this character. I have the impression that, at a certain stage, especially from the mid-80s to the 90s, he stopped being real and started seeing himself as an image. He built N Michael, weddings, made the moon man. He created a character of himself.

Childish, always childish. I have a certain theory about him, which is that Michael Jackson never stopped being that boy from the Jackson 5. He never accepted having grown up, getting pimples, aging and health problems. This also explains his fixation with children. I never believed he was a pedophile.

His fetish with children was one of admiration for the childlike innocence he never had. He grew up under spotlights and autographs, he never really managed to be real. And he left in the same way, like a character he created on some album. Suddenly. Many people still ask themselves, "Wow, did he really die?"

Even at the time of his death, Michael Jackson questioned reality. Perhaps, death was the most palpable factor in the star's biography.
