Jorge Riguette, a reserve soldier, was arrested on October 10, 2018 in Nova Friburgo (RJ). But the case only came to light last Friday (18), when the Public Prosecutor's Office of Rio de Janeiro broke confidentiality. He was on the FBI's list as one of the world's top 100 propagators of child pornography.

During the investigation, the Federal Police found more than 700 photos and videos of child pornography on their computers. The FBI reported that he was very famous for disseminating content via p2p, an acronym for peer to peer, when the file is shared from one computer to another.
Delegate Paula Mary Reis de Albuquerque, who is responsible for the case in Brazil, commented: “There were photos of babies, children of various ages. We need to know, for example, if he had conversations with minors, if he recorded videos, or had contact with rapists.”
Jorge Riguette was famous for defending the military dictatorship and spreading a lot of fake news about the 'gay kit' on his social networks. Many posts defended current president Jair Bolsonaro and said he would fight against the kit in schools.
