Ministry of Health exchanges video with gay couple for voiceover of man and woman; watch!

As we had already reported, the Ministry of Health vetoed the AIDS prevention campaign video aimed at gay audiences that would be shown during Carnival. Now, a new video has been made available and this is what will be shown on TV.

The new campaign features a voice over by a man and a woman presenting figures from the Epidemiological Bulletin, which shows a 10% increase in HIV infection among young gay men aged 15 to 24. At the end, a message is passed: "Aids has no cure, prevent it!". And end.

The entire concept of the previous campaign, which had as its motto the message "everything happens at Carnival, without a condom it can't happen", and the image of a gay couple exchanging caresses in a nightclub, was scrapped.

The first video did not appear on the Ministry of Health website for even a day. At the time, minister Alexandre Padilha denied that the campaign was censored and declared that the video would only be shown in places where gays frequented.

Below you can see the current campaign and then the first video available.
