Transsexual model embodies Michele Obama on magazine cover

Candy is the first magazine focused on the universe of transsexuality. The publication has already featured on its cover actor James Franco dressed as a woman, Chloe Sevigny as a man and a rehearsal with the duo Andre Pejic and Lea T.

Now, the magazine innovates once again and places trans model Connie Fleming paired with First Lady Michele Obama on the cover of its fifth edition. Photos are Danielle Levitt, styled by Brad Goreski. There are two versions of Connie/Michele on the cover.

"I love this cover, which for the first time doesn't feature a superstar, but rather a fabulous and beautiful black transsexual model. When Obama and Hillary Clinton were nominated to run for president by the Democratic Party in 2007, I thought 'When will we have the White House occupied by a black, transgender woman?'" said Luis Venegas, editor of Candy.

It looks beautiful, doesn't it?!
