Between November 26th and December 10th, Ugra – Quadrinhos & Contracultura hosts the exhibition "Adage", from the photographer Rafael Roncato.

The public can see 10 images that reveal the cartoonist's life and work transformation process Laerte Coutinho, as well as exclusive new images. With Free Turnstile entrance, the exhibition is open for viewing from Monday to Saturday, from 12pm to 20pm.

In "Adágio", Laerte mixes his body with paint, becoming a character in his own work and posing naked – in skin and in soul. In addition to the photographs, visitors can also check out the exclusive illustrations made by the cartoonist during the creative process of the shoot.

Photographer and artist met in 2012, when Rafael Roncato started the project ".nankeen.", a series of portraits of Brazilian comic artists, in which he portrayed names such as Adão, Lourenço Mutarelli, André Dahmer and Bruno Maron.

"There were more than 100 emails exchanged, for almost a year, until the idea of mixing the nude with the paints, black and white, for the work came up. She was willing to be photographed in any way I wanted and ended up opening up, becoming naked in skin and soul”, says the photographer.
