The editorial team of DOM – De Outro Modo, a gay magazine from Editora Peixes, has taken on a new look. One of the main changes is the departure of editorial director Jorge Tarquini, whose position was taken over by Augusto Lins Soares, author of the project and also responsible for acting as creative director of the magazine.
Another journalist who is leaving is Valmir Junior, who leaves the team to dedicate himself to personal projects. He will be replaced by Tino Monetti, a former Folha Online reporter who has also worked for the Mix Brasil website and Junior magazine. Tino joins Taís Lambert (editor-in-chief), José Henrique Domingues (designer), Paulo Basile (website and blog reporter) and Fernanda Oliveira (editorial assistant). “The synergy of this team is super positive. We will certainly produce a lot of good things”, guarantees Augusto Lins Soares.
In December, DOM, which is already an editorial success, celebrates its anniversary and prepares surprises for readers. “We have already finalized our cover models for the October and November editions. One of them is an actor (gorgeous!) that our readers will love to see at DOM, but for now I can’t reveal it”, says Soares.
