The hemotherapy technician, Silvana da Silva, learned stories during her shifts in hospitals in São Paulo, which inspired her newest business. In conversations with patients, she discovered that many transsexuals and transvestites had urinary problems after going too long without going to the bathroom, as they used tapes and glues to hide their genitals.

In an interview with the G1 portal, Silvana told how she decided to create a product that would help this audience. “I thought, wow, it's absurd for someone to go out in the morning and only be able to go to the bathroom at night, because the glue on the tape only comes off with water and, even then, it's painful. I said, I have to create something to help”, said Silvana.

So she had the idea of creating funnel-shaped panties, where trans women could hide their genitals without using tape or glue. But at first it was a little difficult to get people to understand. “I took the thread and fabric that I had at home and started sewing. Then they started to understand,” she said.
