Woman, dyke and atheist

That the Netherlands is an exemplary country when it comes to civil rights and respect for homosexuals is nothing new to anyone. However, how far would this avant-garde thinking and acceptance go if we were talking about a Dutch government leader?

With this in mind, an entity from that country decided to carry out a survey to discover the profile of the candidate that would be accepted by the Dutch and the results were impressive.

According to data from the British website Pinknews, 78% of Dutch people have no problem with their prime minister being homosexual and 93% think he could be a woman. Regarding religion, for 87% it would be acceptable for the chosen one to be an atheist and for 53% for it to be Jewish. 33% support him if he is Christian and only 27% if he is Islamic. Another curious fact is that 34% do not mind the government visiting prostitutes and 26% would welcome it if he used hard drugs.

In short, the numbers show that the Dutch's ideal candidate could be an atheist dyke. If a candidate with this profile appears in the country and is elected, it would be the first time in the world that a lesbian would be head of government. Bring on the next elections in the Netherlands!
