Woman is sentenced to 6 and a half years in prison for having sex with her friend pretending to be a man

Gayle Newland, 27, was found guilty by British justice on three counts of penetrative sexual assault when she had sex with a friend pretending to be a man. The defendant must serve six and a half years in prison, as determined by the jury in Manchester, United Kingdom, approved on Thursday, 20. Gayle created a fake profile on Facebook in 2011 under the name Kye Fortune, where she met the victim , with whom she maintained contact pretending to be someone else until 2013, when they both arranged to meet in person. However, according to the indictment, Newland insisted that her friend blindfold herself for the meeting. Blindfolded, the two had sexual intercourse at least ten times before the woman realized that Kye, in reality, was female, and that the penetration was done with a fake penis. In 2015, the British court had sentenced Newland to 8 years in prison, but she appealed the decision. At the time, the judge in the case described the young woman as “A lying, intriguing and very determined woman”. According to the psychiatric report, the convict was diagnosed with gender identity disorder, that is, a dissociation between biological sex and the gender identity with which the person actually identifies. In her defense, the defendant said that the other woman always knew about her false identity and that it was all part of a game to explore sexuality.
