A transgender woman, whose identity was not revealed, was burned alive by a group of men, after she resisted an attempted gang rape by her attackers. The case happened last Thursday, 6th, in Pakistan, and provoked a demonstration organized by the NGO Trans Action Pakistan. According to local press reports, the victim was taken to a deserted place in the Sahiwal district by four men, who tried to sexually assault her. After she resisted the attempted gang rape, the criminals set fire to her, leaving 80% of her body burned. The woman was taken to a hospital, but she did not survive her injuries and died before reaching the health unit.
