There's coming a musical based on fairy tales in which hits from Britney Spears. And the cast for the pre-Broadway stage of the play in Chicago has already been defined. The information is from Entertainment Weekly.
Once upon a One More Time will star Briga Heelan, in the role of Cinderella, and will have Justin Guarini as Prince Charming.
Snow White and other princesses from classic tales will also be in the plot, which will be about a group of young women who meet in a book club. A fairy godmother appears and gives them a book called “The Feminine Mystique”, and that's when the characters begin to question whether it's worth waiting for true love's kiss.
The premiere is scheduled for the evening of April 30th at the James M. Nederlander Theatre.
