One of the main icons of Brazilian nightlife, and a recognized name in the Latin American drag movement, NanyPeople commented on the new generation of national drag queens, which she classified as "fantastic".
In an interview with Caras, Nany stated that she finds all of this “wonderful” and celebrated that nowadays the doors are more open to the new generation.
"In my generation, we worked a lot, it was the generation that came in the 1990s… In the early 2000s it fell a little. Now 2015, 2014 and now, a new generation of drag that sings, that represents, that makes it happen!“he stated. "I think that's wonderful. I really think that diversity has to be seen, celebrated, respected and consumed“, concluded the artist.
